Every Schwimmer pool closing follows a thorough step-by-step process to ensure nothing is missed.

Water Chemistry Balance
We test and balance your water chemistry before closing. Proper pH, alkalinity, and calcium hardness prevent scale buildup and corrosion over winter.

Lower Water Level
Water is lowered to the correct level below the skimmer and return lines to prevent freeze damage to your plumbing.

Blow Out and Plug Lines
All plumbing lines are blown out with compressed air and plugged to prevent any residual water from freezing and cracking your pipes.

Equipment Shutdown
The pump, filter, heater, and all ancillary equipment are properly drained, disconnected, and prepared for winter storage.

Closing Chemicals
We add a full winter chemical kit including algaecide, shock, and stain prevention to keep your water clean and clear all season long.

Cover Installation
Your winter cover is securely installed and fastened to protect the pool from debris, sunlight, and the elements until spring.
